Our website may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

Cookiebot by Usercentrics (Consent Management)

We use the consent management service Cookiebot by Usercentrics, a service of Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark, a subsidiary of Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany.

Cookiebot enables us to obtain, manage, and document consent for the storage of cookies and the use of comparable technologies.

  • Your consent or withdrawal decisions (opt-in/opt-out)
  • Your IP address in anonymised form
  • Browser and device information
  • Date and time of your visit
  • URL of the page accessed
  • A pseudonymous, randomly generated consent ID

This data is used solely to demonstrate consents granted in accordance with the GDPR and is not processed for any other purpose.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (compliance with a legal obligation) in conjunction with Art. 7(1) GDPR, as well as our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in the lawful integration of cookies and comparable technologies.

Google Services

In cases where personal data is transferred to the United States, we have entered into a data processing agreement with Google, including the EU Commission–approved Standard Contractual Clauses (appropriate safeguard pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change your cookie settings at any time and withdraw your consent without giving reasons.

Google Analytics

Paul's Job uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files placed on your computer, to help analyse how users use the site.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be truncated by Google in advance within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services related to website use and internet use to the website operator.

According to Google, the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Paul's Job uses Google Analytics to analyse the use of the website and Paul's Job products in order to continually improve them. The statistics gained help us improve our website and make it more interesting for you as a user.

Google Ads Conversion Tracking

Google Ads Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. that links data from the Google Ads advertising network with actions performed on this application.

Personal data collected: cookies and usage data.

In addition, Paul's Job uses the "Call Conversion Tracking" feature of Google Ads. With this feature, a special phone number is shown to a Google user on Paul's Job's Google business profile. This is triggered by the entry of certain search terms (ads run by Paul's Job). When users call this special phone number, the Google Ads backend links the call with the search query and the booked ad. This allows Paul's Job to identify which booked ad is more likely to lead to a customer call and to plan and design advertising accordingly.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is obtained via the cookie banner. You can also object to the processing of your data via this banner.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. that can be used to integrate further services into the website (e.g. Google Analytics). The Tag Manager itself only serves as a container for further tracking tools and cookies.

Personal data collected: cookies and usage data.

Google Remarketing

This website uses the remarketing tool of Google Inc. ("Google"). This feature allows interest-based ads to be shown to website visitors within the Google advertising network.

The website visitor's browser stores cookies on their computer that allow the visitor to be recognised when they visit websites that are part of Google's advertising network. On these sites, the visitor may be presented with ads relating to content they have previously viewed on websites that use Google's remarketing feature.

According to Google, no personal data is collected in this process.

HubSpot (CRM and Marketing Automation)

We use HubSpot, a service provided by HubSpot, Inc., 2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA, and HubSpot Ireland Limited, Ground Floor, Two Dockland Central, Guild Street, Dublin 1, Ireland.

We use HubSpot for:

  • Receiving and processing demo requests and contact enquiries via our website
  • Managing prospect and customer data (CRM)
  • Sending marketing and informational emails (e.g. newsletters, product updates)
  • Analysing and optimising our marketing activities and website usage

When you fill in a form on our website (e.g. "Book a demo") or interact with our marketing content, the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, company, phone number, position) as well as technical information (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit, click and open behaviour for emails) is transmitted to and stored by HubSpot.

HubSpot uses cookies and comparable technologies to associate user interactions across multiple sessions.

Legal basis:

  • For demo and contact requests: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the efficient handling of enquiries)
  • For marketing emails and tracking cookies: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you provide via our cookie banner or the newsletter sign-up form. You can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

Data transfer to the USA: We have entered into a data processing agreement with HubSpot (Art. 28 GDPR). HubSpot is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) apply additionally.

Storage period: We store personal data in HubSpot for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose — for marketing data, until consent is withdrawn; for contract data, until the expiry of statutory retention periods.

Microsoft Clarity

This website uses Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA ("Microsoft").

Microsoft Clarity allows us to better understand user behaviour on our website. The following are collected in particular:

  • Mouse movements, clicks, scroll behaviour, and keystrokes (excluding content from input fields)
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Session recordings (replay) and aggregated heatmaps
  • Technical information such as IP address (truncated/anonymised), browser, operating system, device and screen information, and approximate location (country/region)

Microsoft Clarity masks content from form fields and sensitive text by default so that it is not visible in recordings.

The data is processed in pseudonymised form and used solely to analyse and improve the usability of our website.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you provide via our cookie banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings.

Data transfer to the USA: We have entered into a data processing agreement with Microsoft. Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) apply additionally.
