Restart successful
After a tough summer, things turned around in July. That’s when I met our lead investor: Jesse Jeng from Scalehouse Capital. Jesse immediately connected with what we were building – not just our vision, but also our background. My exit with Softgarden, the fact that Yannick was on board, and our clear conviction about how agentic AI will reshape recruiting – it all resonated.
By August and September, we got it done: our pre-seed round for Paul’s Job. In total, we raised €1.4 million, led by Scalehouse Capital and supported by a fantastic group of Super Angels – including Alexander Brühl, Rainer Hofmann, Andreas Junck, Carsten Reetz, and Michael May.
At the same time, we were able to carry over the work we had already put into the product back in 2024 and 2025. And to be honest – that wasn’t exactly cheap 😉. But it was worth it, because it gave us a strong foundation to keep building right away.
Most importantly, we didn’t restart alone. Customers like Teamwork, Alloheim, and VD Mayr, who had already been working with us, stood by our side through this turbulent time. We’re deeply grateful for their trust – and proud to know we can count on them as we move forward.
Today, the three of us – Yannick, Putu, and I – stand on a clean foundation. No legacy baggage, a clear setup, and a mission that drives us every day: to completely rethink recruiting with agentic AI.
This restart feels like a fresh beginning – only better, because we’re carrying all the learnings with us. We’re stronger, more focused, and ready to build something truly big.
