A Tough Summer
The summer of 2025 wasn’t easy for me. I want to share openly what happened.
In 2024, I joined a team that had already been working on HR products. That’s where I met Putu. Together, we started working on a new vision: a recruiting system powered by agentic AI that would completely rethink the application process.
The team I joined, however, came with a very complex past – with issues that had nothing to do with this new product. Those legacies made it extremely difficult to push our vision forward within the existing structure.
During this time, I also brought Yannick into the team. We had previously worked closely together at Softgarden, and I knew that with his experience in sales he was exactly the right person to help drive this vision forward.
But eventually, we faced a hard reality: the complicated past of the team made it impossible to secure new funding. We would have loved to continue – but we simply had no chance. We were forced to stop, even though we still had so much we wanted to build.
That was a real low point. But at the same time, it was also a moment of clarity. We realized that if we truly wanted to bring this vision to life, we had to start fresh and unburdened.
